DAY 15 - MOVING FORWARD WITH CONFIDENCE
You’re past the halfway point, and this challenge likely feels more familiar now... less like something you’re doing and more like something you’re practicing.
Today is about confidence, especially in real-life situations, such as like eating out!
Eating Out & Added Sugar Awareness
When you eat at restaurants, added sugar is highly present, unfortunately... even in foods you wouldn’t expect. Protein sources, sauces, dressings, marinades, glazes, and beverages frequently contain added sugars for flavor, balance, and consistency.
This doesn’t mean we need to avoid eating out all the time. It simply means awareness matters.
You may find that once you reduce added sugar, restaurant meals:
Taste sweeter than expected
Feel less satisfying than homemade meals
Trigger cravings later in the day
Not because anything is “wrong,” but because sweetness is built into so many of these dishes.
Being confident doesn’t mean controlling every ingredient. It means having the awareness of what is in your food and knowing how to make choices that feel supportive for you - most of the time!
When eating out, that might look like:
Choosing simpler dishes when possible
Asking for sauces or dressings on the side
Focusing on protein-forward meals
You don’t need perfection — just awareness & presence!
As you move through today, notice:
How restaurant foods taste now
What helps you feel satisfied afterward
What choices feel easiest to maintain
What are you more confident with now than at the beginning of the challenge?
This challenge isn’t about avoiding the world.
It’s about learning how to move through it with awareness and self-trust!
