DAY 20 - REMEMBERING YOUR WHY
As this challenge begins to wind down, today is a good moment to pause and ask a deeper question:
Why did you start?
Not the surface-level reason, but the one underneath it.
Maybe it was to feel more stable with food, to reduce cravings, to have more energy, to stop feeling out of control around sugar, to prove to yourself that you could follow through... etc.
That “why” matters more than you may think.
Motivation is always going to fade, that’s normal. Consistency is what is going to help you make progress and continue to move forward. Consistency doesn’t come from willpower alone; it comes from remembering why something matters to you.
When choices feel aligned with your values rather than imposed, they’re easier to return to, even after imperfect days.
You’ve spent the last few weeks building awareness and skills. Your “why” is what has helped you through the challenge and what can help you carry things you've learned forward. Reflecting on your "why" can be so important for helping you reach any goal. Instead of surface level things like "losing weight" or "getting a six-pack", try to focus on things such as lowering your cholesterol, or simply creating more mental clarity! Find what motivates you and keep that with you for when things get challenging.
Reflect for a Moment:
What originally drew you to this challenge?
What has mattered most to you along the way?
How do you want to feel moving forward?
What's important for you in your day to day lifestyle?
There’s no right answer, just your answer.
As you head into the final day, let your “why” guide you.

Thank you for all the info and reminders Haley!
The 'why' is the biggest motivator :)
