DAY 8 - LETTING CONSISTENCY DO THE WORK
Week 2 often feels quieter... the excitement of starting has faded, meals may feel more routine, and the challenge can feel less noticeable. Although it may not feel like it, this can be the most important week!
Today is about letting consistency work in the background.
Your body is adjusting gradually to the reduction of added sugars. Hunger, cravings, and energy don’t reset overnight, they settle through repetition.
Around this time, you may feel an urge to “mix things up.” That urge isn’t failure it’s often a craving for novelty, not sugar itself.
As you move through today, notice:
Whether cravings feel urgent or habitual
How steadiness feels compared to earlier days
What supports consistency without pressure
If a craving comes, ask yourself "Do I crave sugar? Or am I just craving novelty?"
Staying present, eating balanced meals, and allowing boring days to exist is what today is about. This challenge isn’t meant to be dramatic. It’s meant to feel steady.
At the end of each week, I would like to address a myth or something you're interested in learning more about/de-bunking! If you have any ideas that come to mind, please leave a comment and I will be sure to address your idea!
