DAY 21 RECAP - CHOOSING INTEGRATION OVER AUTOPILOT

Tonight marks the final hours of the 21 day no added sugar "challenge." After three weeks of practicing something new, it would be easy to slip back into old routines, to eat the same way you always have, to stop pausing and to let autopilot take over again. Familiar patterns are comfortable.

This is a reminder that integration is a choice.

Over the past three weeks, you’ve practiced awareness - noticing cravings, balancing meals, responding instead of reacting. Those skills don’t disappear, but they do need intention to stay alive!

Integration doesn’t mean avoiding all sugar forever, but it means bringing what you’ve learned and how you feel without added sugar weighing you down as life continues.

If you choose to move into the next few days of guided re-integration, you’ll have space to:

  • Notice how old habits try to resurface

  • Pause before defaulting back

  • Experiment with flexibility intentionally

  • Choose awareness, even when it feels easier not to

Take a moment to reflect:

  • Where do you notice autopilot wanting to return?

  • What practices feel worth keeping?

  • How can you gently remind yourself to pause?

  • What feels most different than it did three weeks ago?

  • What are you most proud of yourself for?

This challenge wasn’t about banning sugar, it was about remembering that you have a choice on what you put in your body and how it make you feel AND you can trust yourself to stick with things.

At the very least, I hope you were able to learn something and take a little bit of knowledge with you moving forward. Even if you weren't "locked in" day to day, I promise if you were intentional, even somewhat, that this challenge can have a meaningful impact for you moving forward.

I appreciate each one of you for joining this challenge and hope you continue to follow along for the a few more days as we continue this journey together!
